At the Chicago Illuminating Company, we leaned into an eclectic flora story—romantic, layered, and just a touch unexpected. Against the venue’s industrial bones, the styling played with contrast: timeless silhouettes softened by texture, sparkle, and intentional pops of chartreuse woven through the accessories.

For the ceremony, the bride wore a classic Mariana Hardwick gown, elevated with an embellished veil that felt both heirloom and editorial. As the evening unfolded, she shifted into a full lace Seline Meisler corset and skirt set for dinner, finished with gloves for a fashion-forward nod. The night ended in pure magic: a fully beaded Wiederhoeft slip dress, catching every glimmer of light and designed to truly shine on the dance floor.

Clusters of hydrangea in muted greens and blush tones set the foundation, with allium, roses, and seasonal blooms adding pops of color and texture. Airy branches from my own garden and flowing ferns give the arrangements an effortless, just-grown feel."
